This picture was taken in 1921 in the back yard of the ranch home, which is now located at 1373 Lillian and E. 14th Street. The Silvas raised cherries, rhubarb, and apricots. Adeline Silva married William J. Hart; they still live in San Leandro. |

Also pictured: Edith Jones and Hazel Nelson. The principal's name was Mr. Schmitt, rather than Smith, according to Mr. Mendonca. Roy Morgan is fourth in the front row. Mrs. Lynch is third in the second row and the young lady who is fifth in that row is identified as being a Nelson. |
