Cottage Built in 1851 by John L. Haas |
He brought his bride Mary (Reid) Haas here in the fall of 1851 and she lived here till her death in 1909. All her children were born and raised here. This is the back of the cotttage. The house stood at 55 Haas Avenue until at least 1951. It was second only to the Estudillo home in age. |
